SEGA announced the collab event between Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and the SPRIGGAN anime/manga series by Hiroshi Takashige and Ryoji Minagawa is now live. For a limited time, players will be able to obtain SPRIGGAN-themed cosmetics for their ARKS operatives.
Every month, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis hosts exciting collab events with other anime, manga, and gaming franchises. Oshi no Ko was featured during the September 2023 collaboration event, and SPRIGGAN will collaborating with Phantasy Star Online 2: Genesis starting today, October 18.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis x SPRIGGAN Collab
The Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and SPRIGGAN collab event is now live featuring the Armored Muscle Suit used by protagonist Yu Ominae, an Orichalcum Knife, and avatar items modeled after Jean Jacquemonde’s costume. Players may also purchase Build Parts that are modeled after SPRIGGAN’s OOPARTS alongside life-size cutouts of Yu and other SPRIGGAN characters. Moreover, the AC Scratch Ticket: SPRIGGAN Style is now live with several items and avatar cosmetics, including Yu Ominae and Jean Jacquemonde costumes.
Moreover, Halloween festivities have begun with October 18 update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. Xiemi returns as the event navigator with a shop full of rewards that may be redeemed with Seasonal Points, including Halloween Scratch Tickets. Players complete limited-time tasks and titles, earn the new 8-star Brawnaga weapon series, and equip a new augment. Reaper Rappy & Trickertreat Emperappy are roaming the wild as well.
