SEGA announced the collab between online action RPG Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Shueisha’s Oshi no Ko anime/manga series by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari is now live. For a limited time, players will be able to obtain special Oshi no Ko items by logging in and drawing from the latest Scratch Ticket.
The latest episode of NGS Headline revealed all of the new content and updates coming to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis for the month of September 2023. These updates celebrate the fall season with limited-time events, new quests, and various rewards. The highly anticipated Oshi no Ko collab is one of the main highlights for this month.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis x Oshi no Ko
The Oshi no Ko collab event is now live in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. A special Oshi no Ko login bonus campaign is active with several free rewards, and new Build Parts featuring posters and life-sized panels are now available. The Oshi no Ko Style AC Scratch Ticket is live with costumes and cosmetics based on Ai, Ruby, and Kana Arima. The costumes will change the character’s entire appearance to match that of the anime characters. The full list of cosmetics is available at the official Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis website.
Additionally, the autumn festivities continue with the latest update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. This particular update brings another limited-time quest, Moonlight Invasion ’23. Enemy levels and rewards have been upgraded substantially from last year’s version of the quest. What’s more, players now access to limited-time tasks and titles. ARKS Records for the Slope Style: Solo Trainia will also be available. The Refined Form ’23 SG Scratch Ticket brings popular outfits from the original Phantasy Star Online 2, and Mission Pass: NGS Season 24 is live for all players.
Lastly, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store, Windows, and Steam.
