IzanagiGames and MyDearest announced a free demo of DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are now available with a limited-time discount as well.
DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition is exclusive to Nintendo Switch with an all-new story scenario and all three Episodes. The game will support English and Japanese voice-over options with English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean text options. Fans may now try out the exciting mystery adventure game for the first time on Nintendo Switch.
DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition Switch Demo
The new DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition demo is available right now in the Nintendo eShop. Players will have access to roughly two hours of gameplay, including an introduction to the city of Astrum Close and some of its mysteries. The game and demo offer full support for Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers and Joy-Con controllers.
In addition, IzanagiGames confirms that DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition supports optional gyro features as well. Effects and camerawork have been tweaked an optimized for a non-VR experience on Nintendo Switch. Moreover, save data is transferable to the full game, allowing players to continue from where they left off in the demo.
A 10% discount is available right now for DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition in the Nintendo eShop from October at 8:00 a.m. PDT / 11:00 a.m. EDT to November 21 at 6:59 a.m. PST / 9:59 a.m. EDT. The discount brings the price down to $44.99 from $49.99.
In June 2022, Final Weapon held an interview with MyDearest CEO Kento Kishigami. In the interview, Kishigami discussed games he was looking forward to and development challenges involving the new Nintendo Switch version.
Finally, DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate is available now for PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest 2. The Nintendo Switch version launches on November 22, and a PC (Steam) version is also coming soon.
