On the game’s official website, players can sign-up to be among the first to learn when the Kickstarter goes live. The project will receive its funding via fan support through the Kickstarter website. Quantic River is currently available to wishlist on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The Steam page describes the game as follows:

Dive into the dystopian world of Quantic River, where frenetic action meets captivating exploration. Master katana combat, unlock cybernetics, slice through environments, hack obstacles, and explore dual-layered levels for speedrunners and explorers.

Fast and precise melee combat focused on parries, counter-attacks, and fluid chains. Encounters are built around timing, reflexes, and control.

Many elements in the environment can be sliced or destroyed. These interactions enhance both gameplay and immersion, creating tactical opportunities in real time.

Unlock upgrades to enhance combat, hacking, or mobility. Activate Quantum Anomalies to slow down time through an overheat system, ideal for shifting the pace of battle.

Take control of security cameras to observe, interact with, or manipulate the environment remotely. Disable defenses, open paths, and use hacking to access alternate routes across each level’s dual-layered structure.

Quantic River is currently in development for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. It is available to wishlist on all the aforementioned storefronts. The Kickstarter for the upcoming project will go live soon.
