GungHo initially released Puzzle and Dragons in 2012 for mobile devices. The game allows players to traverse dungeons to collect loot. Over the years, the game has crossed over with several licensed IPs such as PersonaDragon Quest, and Demon Slayer. Final Fantasy XVI is the latest collaboration, but players can expect many more events in the near future.

Two paid DLC installments for Final Fantasy XVI are currently in development. The DLC will allow players to explore more aspects of Valisthea, but producer Naoki Yoshida did not elaborate further. Moreover, the producer confirms that development of the Final Fantasy XVI PC port is underway. Yoshi-P hopes to share more information about the DLC and the PC port before the end of 2023.

Lastly, Final Fantasy XVI is available now for PlayStation 5 worldwide. The PC version is currently in development with a release expected in 2024. Puzzle and Dragons is available now on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch.
