PlayStation and Guerilla Games have announced the Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition. The bundle will release on the PlayStation 5 on October 6 and come out on PC in 2024.
Forbidden West is the 2022 follow-up to the 2017 open-world RPG Horizon Zero Dawn. The game features several new mechanics that build off of the original title and improve upon it. Earlier this year, Guerilla released an expansion for the game titled Burning Shores. Both PlayStation and Guerilla confirmed more information on what to expect from the upcoming collection.
Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition Announced
The upcoming Forbidden West: Complete Edition will cost $59.99. It will include the following:
- Horizon Forbidden West for PS5
- Burning Shores DLC for PS5
- Digital soundtrack
- Digital art book
- Horizon Zero Dawn Vol. 1: The Sunhawk digital comic book*
- In-game items:
- Extras in Photo Mode (special pose and face paint)
- In-game items unlocked via story progression:
- Carja Behemoth Elite outfit ·Carja Behemoth Short Bow
- Nora Thunder Elite outfit
- Nora Thunder Sling
- Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike piece
- Resources pack
Nixxes Software will develop the PC version of the game. It is available to wishlist on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Steam states that the game has the following features:
- Brave an expansive open world – discover distant lands, new enemies, rich cultures and striking characters.
- A majestic frontier – explore the lush forests, sunken cities and towering mountains of a far-future America.
- Confront new dangers – engage in strategic battles against enormous machines and mounted human enemies by using weapons, gear and traps crafted from salvaged parts.

Lastly, the Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will release on October 6 for the PlayStation 5. The PC version will release at some point in 2024. Guerilla and Nixxes will likely reveal more information on the game’s release date in the coming months.
