Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced Gran Turismo 7 update 1.38 will release on September 28 with new content to explore. This content includes multiple new cards and Extra Menus, which feature more races to participate in.

Gran Turismo 7 typically receives one major update per month with more new cars, races, events, and features. In August 2023, Polyphony Digital added an ambulance for Gran Turismo 7 players to drive in. The update also added a new “Gran Turismo: The Movie” livery for the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18, and fans may test out a new race car in the September 2023 update.

The Gran Turismo movie became the #1 movie in America this past August. It managed to beat Barbie, Blue Beetle, Oppenheimer, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Reports indicated that Gran Turismo earned more than $53 million worldwide last month too. The movie had a budget of $60 million, so Sony likely turned a profit by now.

Lastly, Gran Turismo 7 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
