    NetEase Games and Nitroplus Reveal Rusty Rabbit at TGS 2023

    NetEase Games and Nitroplus have announced Rusty Rabbit, a brand-new side-scrolling action adventure game for PC and PlayStation 5. The new game was previously teased by NetEase Games with a blurred image with a reveal planned for Tokyo Game Show 2023.

    NetEase Games hosted a TGS 2023 presentation for media to announce a new title—Rusty Rabbit. Attendees will be able to play hands-on demos of upcoming NetEase Games titles at booth 03-S01 from September 21 to 24. In addition, giveaways and stage events will also be available.

    A newly launched official website for Rusty Rabbit confirms the game is an original work from NetEase Games and Nitroplus with conceptual planning by Gen Urobuchi. Players will take on the role of Stamp, a rabbit that likes to collect junk and tinker with machines. One day, he stumbles upon a D-TAM terminal and finds information relating to his missing daughter and a secret regarding the world they live in. The secret may have to do with the reason humanity left the planet behind.

    Story

    Thousands of years after humans left this planet, it was rabbits who inherited it…
    Stamp is an old and eccentric cute rabbit who likes to spend his days piloting his trusty mech “Junkster”, collecting junk throughout the ruins of this frozen world、until one day, he discovers clues about his missing daughter… Dig deeper in these ruins to unfold the mysteries surrounding this world!

    Gameplay

    Experience exhilarating action and mystery as you dig ever deeper into the giant ruins!

    • “Smash and Dash” your way through mazelike ruins – With your mech’s ninja-like speed and mobility, “Smash and Dash” your way through mazelike ruins, and loot any treasure that awaits!
    • RPG-like progression and customization – Improve your mech with parts and materials collected from within the ruins, and defeat enemies guarding treasure to strengthen Stamp!
