    NetEase Games TGS 2023 Schedule and Games Lineup Announced

    New game to be announced.

    NetEase Games have announced its Tokyo Game Show 2023 schedule and games lineup of playable demos for the TGS show floor. The company also teases the reveal of an all-new game during the annual event. 

    NetEase Games joins the exhibitors list alongside several other major gaming companies such as SEGA / ATLUS, Capcom, HoYoverse, Bandai Namco, and Square Enix. All of these companies will showcase their highly anticipated games with livestreams and in-person demos, including Persona 3 Reload and Dragon’s Dogma 2

    NetEase Games at TGS 2023 

    On September 21, NetEase Games will host a TGS 2023 presentation for media to announce a new title. The company will also reveal information about several games such as Lovebrush Chronicles, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, Where Winds Meet, and Project Mugen. Attendees will be able to play hands-on demos of upcoming NetEase Games titles at booth 03-S01. Giveaways and stage events will also be available. Furthermore, the company will introduce Quantic Dream’s new publishing label: “Spotlight by Quantic Dream”. More details about the presentation are coming soon.

    Games Lineup

    Lovebrush Chronicles

    A romance adventure game, with a unique worldview based on the concept of “parallel worlds.” At Tokyo Game Show, we plan to hold a stage event featuring voice actors. We also plan to announce the release date for Japan at Tokyo Game Show. Additionally, we plan to set up a booth where you can try out the game in advance.

    Harry Potter: Magic Awakened

    This card-based RPG game set in a magical world is co-developed and co-published by NetEase Games and Warner Bros. Games. At Tokyo Game Show, we plan to set up photo spots to allow visitors to experience the game’s worldview. We would like to invite all visitors to come and experience this fascinating world of magic!

    Where Winds Meet

    An open-world action-adventure RPG set in China’s Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. We will have a booth at Tokyo Game Show where we plan to hand out merchandise to visitors.

    Project Mugen (provisional name)

    Project Mugen (provisional name) is a highly anticipated game that has just been announced during gamescom 2023. Developed by a global team rich in experience, it is an urban-based open-world RPG that uniquely blends adventure and supernatural mysteries in a city setting. While we don’t have a release date yet, the free-to-play title is coming to PC, mobile devices, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

    Spotlight by Quantic Dream

    Quantic Dream, the French game developer and publisher that joined NetEase Games in 2022, has launched a new publishing label, Spotlight by Quantic Dream, and will be presenting three of their indie titles: Dustborn, Under The Waves, and Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior. These three titles will be shown at the NetEase Games booth and presented once a day on the main stage.

    Dustborn is a third-person, single-player, story-driven, road trip action-adventure game about hope, love, friendships, robots, and the power of words. 

    At Tokyo Game Show 2023, visitors will be able to take photos in front of the game’s key artwork. Additionally, game bats, postcards, and posters will be distributed to visitors interacting at the booth.

    Under The Waves is a narrative-driven adventure game about the power of grief. Set in the depths of the North Sea in a techno-futuristic 1970s, the game follows Stan, a professional diver, as he struggles to overcome a life-changing loss and embrace a new future. 

    During Tokyo Game Show 2023, a special hands-on demo on PlayStation®5 will be available exclusively on the first day. Additionally, we will give out posters to all visitors.

    Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is a hack-and-slash game with a tactical twist. The fate of your kingdom, Antala, depends on you! Rewind time and create clones of your past selves to battle with your own army. Become a legion, crush hordes of demons, and save Antala!

    At Tokyo Game Show 2023, visitors will be able to take photos in front of the game’s key artwork. Posters will also be handed out to all visitors.

    Identity V

    This is an asymmetrical multiplayer game boasting over 200 million users worldwide. At Tokyo Game Show 2023, an Identity V exhibition match is scheduled for Sunday, September 24 (the second Public Day of the show). 

    unVEIL the World

    Shueisha Games and NetEase Games jointly developed this action-adventure strategic RPG that features characters designed by the famed manga artist and illustrator Posuka Demizu. Following last year’s introduction of the main character “Yuta,” we will reveal another main character this year. At the TGS venue, we will reveal a second trailer for the game and a video interview with its composer, Hideki Sakamoto. We also plan to hold an event to hand out the game’s setting book.     Knives Out

    A battle royale game developed and operated by NetEase Games. In this game, 100 players land on a deserted island and fight to be the last one standing. A shooting range will be set up at the dedicated Knives Out booth at Tokyo Game Show being held from Thursday, September 21 to Sunday, September 24. A pro team competition will be held on the stage at our booth from 14:00 to 16:30 on Saturday, September 23.

    Majyo no Furo Life

    The game version of Majyo no Furo Life is an RPG for smartphones developed and distributed by NetEase Games based on the IP project of the same name, which is themed around “witches X hot springs X the slow life” by Akatsuki Games. The latest video of the game will be released at Tokyo Game Show. Additionally, cosplayers will be active at the booth. We hope you are looking forward to visiting!

    Never After ~A Twisted Fairy Tale World~

    This title is a fairy tale RPG that has defied expectations with over 15 million downloads worldwide. Fairy tale characters who were your childhood friends become your companions, and you can explore the continent of Oz freely together. At Tokyo Game Show, we plan to release new information about the game and offer demo play opportunities.
