Square Enix has officially revealed four new 4K Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade screenshots for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, which was announced during the Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation. This version of the game packs in both Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Episode INTERmission DLC featuring Yuffie Kisaragi.

While no confirmation was made on the game’s performance or resolution during the announcement, the screenshots that Square Enix has uploaded are indeed in 4K resolution. You can take a look at these new Nintendo Switch 2 screenshots for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade below:

This release is significant for numerous reasons, especially considering the history of Final Fantasy VII and Nintendo. Hamaguchi-san also teased fans to look forward to future developments for the Final Fantasy VII remake project and Nintendo Switch 2, so it does seem likely we will be getting Final Fantasy VII Rebirth at some point.

The third and final title in the Final Fantasy VII remake project is well into development, with confirmation already that the game will not be exclusive to next-gen systems like the PlayStation 6.
