It’s official: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is heading to Nintendo Switch 2. During today’s Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation, Square Enix revealed a first look trailer at the upcoming port. This version of the game packs in both Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Episode INTERmission DLC featuring Yuffie Kisaragi.

This release is significant for numerous reasons, especially considering the history of Final Fantasy VII and Nintendo. Hamaguchi-san also teased fans to look forward to future developments for the Final Fantasy VII remake project and Nintendo Switch 2, so it does seem likely we will be getting Final Fantasy VII Rebirth at some point.

The third and final title in the Final Fantasy VII remake project is well into development, with confirmation already that the game will not be exclusive to next-gen systems like the PlayStation 6.
