Bandai Namco announced that free-to-play battle royale game My Hero Ultra Rumble releases on September 28 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The PC version launches just one day later

My Hero Ultra Rumble is a new 24-player battle royale game featuring iconic characters from the My Hero Academia anime and manga series. Bandai Namco previously held an open beta on PlayStation 4 to allow fans to try out the game before launch.

My Hero Ultra Rumble Release Date Gets Confirmed

The release date for My Hero Ultra Rumble was announced during Bandai Namco’s Tokyo Game Show 2023 stage for the new title. Fortunately, the wait will be over soon since the game will launch in just one week. While fans wait, Bandai Namco encourages fans to watch the trailer below.

My Hero Academia Movie 4 was announced in Weekly Shonen Jump this past August, bringing excitement to fans of the anime series. A seventh season of the TV anime is also coming soon, and a special episode of the anime series will premiere at New York Comic Con 2023. This new episode takes players back to My Hero Academia Season 6.

While waiting on the new game and the new movie, fans may now stream My Hero Academia: Two Heroes on Crunchyroll. All six seasons of the My Hero Academia anime are available on Crunchyroll as well. The other two movies, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, and My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission, may be found on Hulu, Max, Amazon Prime Video, and other subscription services.

Lastly, here’s an overview of the anime series, via Crunchyroll:

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
