If you tuned into last week’s State of Play, you’ll know that Capcom finally revealed Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways, a remake of the famed DLC. This stars Ada Wong on a quest to retrieve the Amber, which happens at the same time as the base game. Luis is also set to return in this DLC. The release date for this Resident Evil 4 DLC is sooner than you think.
So, when can you play this highly anticipated release? Is it available to preload? Here’s what you need to know.
Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC Release Date
The release date for Separate Ways, the Resident Evil 4 DLC, is September 21, 2023. You will be able to access the content starting at midnight Eastern Time on September 21.
Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC Platforms
This DLC is not exclusive to any platform, so you’ll be able to play it wherever Resident Evil 4 is available! That means PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC users will have access to the DLC. With the recent reveal of the iPhone 15 Pro RE4 version, it is expected this DLC will be made available there as well.
The Amber has been located, but to what lengths will Ada go to complete her mission?

Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC Preload
As this is downloadable content and not a full game or expansion, it is unlikely there will be a preload. You should expect to be able to purchase the DLC starting at 12 AM Eastern Time on September 21. If the listing goes up before the release date, we’ll be sure to let you know.
