Koei Tecmo and Kou Shibusawa announced tactical role-playing simulation game Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 is getting a remake in early 2024. Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake brings substantial graphical upgrades and additional content and features for fans to explore.
Kou Shibusawa’s latest release was Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. This title brings players to the Warring States period of Japan as various leaders vie for the country’s unification. Soon, fans will go back even further in time to experience Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake Brings Notable Upgrades
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is based on the Japanese release of Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII with Power Up Kit. The game includes the “All Officers Play” and “All Periods Scenarios” features. Further, players may experience all-new graphical and game system upgrades that help bring the title into the modern era of gaming. Currently, the game is scheduled for an early 2024 release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
Koei Tecmo released the game’s first teaser following the September 14 Nintendo Direct. More information about the new title will be revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2023 during the “Koei Tecmo Live! in TGS 2023” live stream on September 22. The game will also be playable at Koei Tecmo’s TGS 2023 booth. Additional information about the livestream will be announced in the coming weeks through the teaser site and official Twitter channel, @koeitecmoUS.

Moreover, Koei Tecmo will feature Fate/Samurai Remnant and Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Liberator of Polar Night at Tokyo Game Show 2023. At Koei Tecmo’s TGS 2023 booth, a playable Fate/Samurai Remnant demo will be available featuring an early portion of the main story and a challenging boss battle. Players who complete the demo will receive an original pin badge.
Lastly, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake launches in early 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
