    Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board Comes to Switch in 2024

    Featuring several locations and playable characters from Demon Slayer.

    SEGA announced that Aniplex’s new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba board game will release in 2024 for Nintendo Switch as Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board worldwide. The game’s official Japanese title is Kimetsu no Yaiba Mezase! Saikyō Taishi!

    The previous game in the popular anime/manga series was Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles, which was published by SEGA and developed by CyberConnect2. Following Aniplex Online Fest 2023, Aniplex launched an official Japanese website for Kimetsu no Yaiba Mezase! Saikyō Taishi!. Now, fans in the west may also look forward to the new title.

    Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board for Switch

    In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board, Demon Slayer fans may enjoy an exciting board/party game locally or online in 2024. Several characters will be playable including Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and the nine Hashiras. What’s more, Nezuko Kamado will be selectable as a support character.

    The in-game boards are based on various locations from the series Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. A variety of mini-games will be present in Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board. In addition, A day and night cycle is present, offering new events as players encounter iconic characters from the Demon Slayer franchise.

    In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!, players will explore a dynamic world designed like a board game. Each board features memorable locations from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. As the time-of-day changes from day and night, the spaces of each board changes, bringing new events and opportunities for players to discover as they plan their next move.

    Choose from a cast of fan-favorite characters including Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and 9 Hashiras before engaging in fun, exciting multiplayer action for up to 4 players, either locally or online. Nezuko Kamado will also join in on the fun as a support character. Take on a variety of thrilling mini-games, meet familiar characters, work together to defeat dangerous demons lurking in the night, and aim to become the most powerful demon slayer among the rest!
