    Beyblade X Anime Reveals Staff, Voice Cast, Theme Songs, & Release Date

    The official website for TAKARA TOMY’s Beyblade X anime reveals its staff, voice cast, official theme songs, and a release date set for October 6. Fans may hear the stunning vocals of ONE OK ROCK in the newest promotional video as well. 

    This past March, TAKARA TOMY announced Beyblade X as the “4th generation” project following the original 1999 Beyblade, 2008’s Beyblade: Metal Fusion, and 2015’s Beyblade Burst series. Beyblade X marks the franchise’s long-awaited return, and fans won’t have to wait long for the anime. 

    Beyblade X Anime Release Date, Staff, and More Revealed

    The Beyblade X anime series premieres on October 6 across TV Tokyo and its affiliate channels. A distributor for the anime outside of Japan (i.e. Crunchyroll) has not been announced just yet. However, several more details have been revealed about the new anime on its official website. Popular J-rock band ONE OK ROCK performs the opening theme “Prove” for Beyblade X. aespa performs the anime’s ending theme song “ZOOM ZOOM.”

    The Beyblade X staff includes Katsuhito Akiyama as chief director and OLM director Sotsu Terada Hikaru Muno is credited for original series concept and scenario assistance. Kazuho Hyodo is the series script writer. Posuka Demizu is the original character designer, while Yoshihiro Nagamori is the chief animation character designer. 

    The voice cast of Beyblade X includes (unofficial names for characters):

    • Sōma Saitō as Ekusu Kurosu
    • Shūichirō Umeda as Bird Kazami
    • Ruriko Noguchi as Multi Nanairo

    This past June, Kakegurui manga artist and writer Homura Kawamoto, Hikaru Muno (High Card), and Posuka Demizu (The Promised Neverland) launched the Beyblade X manga in Shogakukan’s Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine. Kawamoto and his younger brother Muno writes Beyblade X’s original story, and Demizu draws the manga.

    Lastly, Beyblade X premieres on October 4.
