Nintendo is celebrating the holidays early with the reveal of new Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch Lite models and a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Switch bundle. These new bundles will be available with major savings compared to buying each item individually.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe may have released earlier in the console’s life, but both titles are still popular. In addition, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still receiving DLC through the Booster Course Pass. Players will be able to purchase both titles with their choosing of Nintendo Switch system this October.
New Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch Lite Models
The new Animal Crossing: New Horizons Isabelle’s Aloha Edition and Timmy & Tommy’s Aloha Edition Nintendo Switch Lite systems will be sold on October 6 for $199.99. Each bundle includes a digital copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons at no additional cost. These new Nintendo Switch Lite models include designs and patterns inspired by the in-game characters. Isabelle’s Aloha Edition is coral pink with white leaf designs, and Timmy & Tommy’s Aloha Edition shares white leaf designs with a turquoise color scheme.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle
Nintendo will also release the new Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle on October 6 for $299.99. The bundle includes a Nintendo Switch system with Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con controllers, a download code for the digital version of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, and a three-month individual membership to the Nintendo Switch Online base subscription.
Once redeemed, players may upgrade the Nintendo Switch Online membership to a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack includes SEGA Genesis, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Advance titles alongside the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass.
Lastly, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are both available now for Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for the new bundles are not available yet.
