SEGA and ATLUS released a new Persona 5 Tactica trailer that highlights and introduces Futaba Sakura, the Phantom Thief that goes by the alias “Oracle.” Futaba returns to aid the Phantom Thieves as a trustworthy navigator.
Persona 5 Tactica will be playable at PAX West 2023 alongside Persona 3 Reload later this week, and fans in Japan may also participate in a new demo event. Before then, ATLUS continues its near-weekly tradition of new Persona 5 Tactica information and trailers by taking a closer look at Futaba.
Futaba Sakura Returns in Persona 5 Tactica
The official Japanese X (Twitter) account for the Persona series shared a new character trailer for Futaba Sakura in Persona 5 Tactica. Futaba used to be a shut-in due to a traumatic event in her past. However, she eventually overcame her fears and uncertainty with the help of her adoptive father, Sojiro Sakura, and the Phantom Thieves. Fans can also expect a new character trailer for Haru Okumura soon.
Futaba Sakura (CV: Aoi Yūki, Erica Lindbeck)
A genius hacker girl who once caused a great uproar in the world. Selfish adults made her believe that she was to blame for her mother’s death, and Futaba proceeded to live her life as a shut-in. Futaba isn’t good at communicating with other people, but she would begin to change after regaining her memories and awakening her Persona ability. She plays an vital role as a navigator for the Phantom Thieves, supporting her comrades from afar. Her Persona is Necronomicon.
