Do you need to free up space to play Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon? While the file size of Armored Core VI isn’t unreasonably large for a modern game, it will likely take up significant storage space. Here’s what you need to know about the game’s size.
Armored Core VI File Size For Each Platform
- PlayStation 5 – 43.3 GB
- PlayStation 4 – 55.7 GB
- Xbox Series X|S – 53.6 GB
- Xbox One – 33.6 GB
- PC – 60 GB
Unsurprisingly, the PC version of Armored Core VI requires the largest amount of storage. However, the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4 versions of the game are not that much smaller. Interestingly, PlayStation 5 has a noticeably smaller file size than these other three platforms. This is likely due to a compression tool known as Kraken.
Curiously, the file size of the Xbox One version is by far the smallest of the bunch. Despite this, it may not be the most ideal platform to play Armored Core VI on if you have other choices. If you want good performance and a reasonable file size, the PlayStation 5 version of the game is likely your best bet.
Ultimately, it doesn’t matter too much which platform you decide to play the game on in regards to file size. Armored Core VI will take up a similar amount of storage space on each platform. Just be sure you have enough space when the time comes to play the game.
