Four months have already passed since the launch of Honkai: Star Rail, and PS5 players will soon be able to join the Astral Express during the technical test. For a limited-time, Honkai: Star Rail fans and newcomers may apply for PS5 technical test recruitment and earn special rewards.
Previously, HoYoverse revealed that the Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3 update releases on August 30. Fu Xuan, one of the update’s new characters, was teased in a new trailer shown at Gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live. Afterwards, HoYoverse confirmed that fans may try out Honkai: Star Rail on PS5 before its release date.
Honkai: Star Rail PS5 Technical Test Recruitment
Recruitment for the Honkai: Star Rail PS5 technical test is already underway until August 28 at 10:00 a.m. (UTC+8). Players simply need to make a HoYoverse account or log into an existing HoYoverse account to participate. After logging in, players should press the sign-up button at the recruitment website and complete a survey to pre-register for the technical test. Players will earn rewards in Honkai: Star Rail for pre-registering for the technical test. These rewards include Credits, Adventure Logs, Condensed Aethers, and Light Cones.
Once the recruitment deadline arrives, HoYoverse will begin to select participants based on information entered in the sign-up survey. Players should check the email associated with their HoYoverse account for an invitation and confirm their email address. HoYoverse suggests fans check their spam and junk folders just in case. Once this process is complete, players may go by to the recruitment website and select the Check Access option in the top right-hand corner to re-confirm that they’re ready for the technical test.
Technical Test Release Date
HoYoverse confirms that the Honkai: Star Rail PS5 technical test will begin on September 4 at 10:00 (UTC+8). The test is roughly 30 GB on PS5, so players should ensure they have enough storage space for the file. The test will be facilitated in a live server environment, so all players will have access to the same content. Once more, the same HoYoverse account used to play Honkai: Star Rail on mobile and PC may be used to play the PS5 version. This also means that players may continue their journey in the mobile and PC versions after the test ends. An internet connection is required, and players may use the PS5’s sharing features to upload gameplay to social media.
Finally, Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Epic Games Store. Honkai: Star Rail for PS5 has a release date set for Q4 2023 thus far.
