    Dragon Ball FighterZ Update 1.33 Now Available With Patch Notes

    Another update to a recent classic.

    Bandai Namco has officially released the patch notes for update 1.33 for Dragon Ball FighterZ. This major balance patch is available for everyone starting today.

    Bandai Namco initially released Dragon Ball FighterZ in 2018. The anime-focused title is a 2D fighting game that can be played on most modern consoles. Earlier in the month, they announced Patch 1.33 alongside reconfirming that a beta for implementing rollback netcode will be released soon. At the time of writing, Bandai Namco still have not yet confirmed when the beta will release.

    Dragon Ball FighterZ Update 1.33 and Patch Notes

    The mechanics are the first significant change in patch 1.33 of Dragon Ball FighterZ. These include:

    • Super Attack
      • Meteor attacks can now be performed from Super Attacks while Limit-Breaking power is active. (Excludes some Super Atacks and Meteor Attacks.)
    • Ki Charge
      • Reduced Delay

    Further, several characters have had their attacks adjusted slightly. Notable examples are as follows:

    • Goku (Super Saiyan) has a faster startup, increased block stun, extended range, and adjusted knockback for several attacks.
    • Vegeta (Super Saiyan) has increased distance, reduced hit-stop, adjusted knockback, increased stun, and an increased number of hits for a few of his attacks.
    • Piccolo has added armor invincibility, faster startup, increased hit-stop, and adjusted knockback on some of his attacks.
    • Gohan (Teen) has increased combo capability, faster startup, and increased delay.
    • Frieza has reduced delay and faster startup.
    • Captain Ginyu also has reduced delay on some attacks.
    • Trunks has increased distance and added knockback.
    • Cell has a faster startup, reduced delay, and adjusted knockback.
    • Android 18 has increased distance, reduced knockback, and more.

    Lastly, Patch 1.33 for Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now. Players can both play the game and try out the update on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
