    Dragon Ball FighterZ August 2023 Patch and Rollback Netcode Beta Coming Soon

    Get ready for rollback.

    Bandai Namco has officially revealed the first information for the August patch for Dragon Ball FighterZ, along with the rollback netcode beta coming soon. They’ve also reconfirmed their plans for EVO 2023.

    Dragon Ball FighterZ is Arc System Works’ fighting game based on the world of Dragon Ball. The game was initially released in 2018 and has gotten several updates and DLC characters over the past five years. The next major update will be adding a rollback netcode to Steam shortly.

    Dragon Ball FighterZ August Patch

    According to Bandai Namco, a new Dragon Ball FighterZ patch will release by the end of August 2023 on all platforms. More details about this patch will come soon, and the development team is still hard at work preparing the rollback netcode beta for Steam. Bandai Namco hopes fans will wait a little longer.

    Bandai Namco Esports’ official update states the following:

    “Hello FighterZ

    Thank you very much for playing the balance adjustment patch ‘Version 1.32’ released at the end of May. We also thank you for the many comments regarding the patch.
    Currently, we are preparing for the second round of balance adjustments based on your feedback.
    The patch will be released sequentially on each platform at the end of August. We will
    announce more information as soon as the details are finalized.

    We would like to thank everyone for your continued patience in waiting for the public beta test for ‘Rollback Netcode’ on Steam.
    We hope you will wait a little longer until we announce the timing of the public beta test.

    The Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour 2023/2024 will start tomorrow at EVO 2023!
    Our team is very happy that so many of you participated in the qualifiers.
    We wish the best of luck to all the players and hope that more people around the world will
    be able to see their heroic performances

    The Dragon Ball FighterZ team will do our best to make this game even more enjoyable for you.
