SEGA and ATLUS announced a Persona 5 Tactica demo event will be held in Japan this September, allowing Japanese fans to try out the game in public. The companies encourage fans to share their experience with others online through social media next month.
Joker and the Phantom Thieves are back with Persona Q2-esque characters designs in Persona 5 Tactica. Players will be aided by the mysterious revolutionary Erina as the Phantom Thieves face against the tyrant Marie in the Metaverse. The new title will feature strategy RPG gameplay with traditional elements from the Persona 5 series of games.
Persona 5 Tactica Demo Event in Japan
The “Persona 5 Tactica Premium Experience” event will be held on September 2 to 3 in Tokyo with a two-hour demo. Morning and afternoon sessions will be held at 10:00 JST and 14:00 JST respectively. Participants will be chosen via applications, and those chosen participants may share their experience with the demo through social media. Impressions from the demo may be used in official ATLUS channels, including the game’s official website.

Before September arrives, fans in the west will be able try out both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica at the Koelnmesse during Gamescom 2023. Demos for these new Persona titles will be available at SEGA’s official booth alongside more upcoming titles such as Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Sonic Superstars. Gamescom 2023 will be active from August 23 to August 27 in Cologne, Germany.
Lastly, Persona 5 Tactica launches on November 17 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Steam.
