The first trailer of the upcoming Rayman DLC in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope has been revealed. The new DLC pack is called Rayman in the Phantom Show and will be released on August 30, 2023.
Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is a tactical RPG on the Nintendo Switch. The game combines the universes of both Mario and Rabbids into one unique package. The Rayman DLC will mark the last major update to the game.
Rayman’s Return
Players will take Rayman, Rabbid Mario, and Rabbid Peach through the movie-themed dimension titled the “Space Opera Network.” Each level is themed around a specific genre, from Western to pirates to medieval fantasy. The Phantom from Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will be making his dramatic return as the main antagonist for the expansion.
Rayman can take advantage of several mechanics unique to the DLC. He can float using his helicopter hair, use a grappling hook on Rayman-themed points, and utilize special abilities that fans of the Rayman series will no doubt enjoy. Those who are fond of Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends may already have noticed the music in the trailer sounds remarkably similar to the main themes of those games. Expect to see many more references when the DLC releases in August.
