Boruto Two Blue Vortex Timeskip Manga Announced

Moving closer to Boruto and Kawaki's inevitable battle.

The latest issue of V-Jump reveals Boruto Two Blue Vortex, the second part of the Boruto manga series featuring a major timeskip. The Boruto manga will resume serialization in August 2023 following its three month break, which began this past April.

A promotional image in V-Jump reveals that Boruto: Two Blue Vortex by Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto is “Part 2” of the Boruto manga series. The manga will take place after Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapters 79 and 80, which had major implications for Boruto’s future. Shortly before the release of Chapter 80, V-Jump confirmed the manga would take a hiatus until August 2023. The hiatus will end with Chapter 81, so fans are recommended to catch up with the series due to spoilers involving the main story.

In Boruto Two Blue Vortex, Boruto deals with the consequences of Eida’s Omnipotence ability. The activation of Omnipotence caused everyone’s memories of Boruto to change, turning him into a target responsible for the death of Naruto Uzumaki, his father and the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Sasuke Uchiha appears to have been unaffected by Omnipotence due to his own visual prowess, so the two characters flee the village. V-Jump reveals an updated look for Sarada Uchiha, Sasuke’s daughter, after the manga’s timeskip.
