MediBang announced a strategic partnership with anime streaming website and manga database Anime-Planet to distribute free chapters. These free manga chapters will be available through Anime-Planet’s online reading portal.
Anime-Planet is run by fans of the anime and manga industry ever since its founding in 2001. The renowned platform allows users to track anime, manga, manhwa, webtoons, and OELs. Additionally, Anime-Planet provides personalized anime and manga recommendations, the ability to legally read and watch content online through industry partnerships, and browse a vast content database of anime and manga via tags, characters, and staff. Distributor MediBang will bolster Anime-Planet’s manga selection through its newly announced partnership.
MediBang and Anime-Planet Manga Distribution Partnership
According to MediBang, the initial launch lineup includes chapters from a variety of genres including sports, horror, fantasy, and BL. Manga readers may browse the new selection of free chapters by visiting the online reading portal at Anime-Planet. Alongside MediBang, Anime-Planet has chapters through partnerships with Lezhin Comics, J-Novel Club, and Bilibili Comics. Once more, all of the titles are legal and industry-supported due to partnerships with the industry.
