Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster Rated for PC in South Africa

    Potentially new platforms await.

In South Africa, a rating for Baten Kaitos I & II was spotted for PC. This rating was made on May 11, 2023. The collection was announced back in February at Nintendo Direct, where it was revealed as a Nintendo Switch title. No other platforms have been announced at this time.

A release of the HD Baten Kaitos collection for PC wouldn’t be out of the question, especially since Bandai is the publisher. Since the games aren’t being published by Nintendo or being developed by Monolith Soft, a release outside of the Nintendo ecosystem is possible. While they were exclusive to the Nintendo GameCube, maybe Bandai Namco wants to push the game to as many people as possible.

We’ll have to wait and see. Any information regarding additional platforms at launch is sure to be made in the coming weeks. The HD Remasters are set to release in just under two months.

About Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster

Two JRPG masterpieces return. Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins are back with improved graphics and new features to aid game progression, making them even easier to play!

A long time ago, there was a great conflict between the evil god and the people. After a fierce battle, the people managed to seal off the evil god, but what was left behind was only a desolate land. The people thus chose to abandon the land and live in the sky.

Such fairy tales were passed down as legends. At this time, people had wings called Wings of the Heart and lived a peaceful life. It was an era of long-lasting tranquility. …But the collapse had quietly begun.

When a young man calls your name, the name of the spirit, the story begins to unfold. A story set on a floating continent in the sky, where thoughts and prayers intersect.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster launches on September 14, 2023. As of now, only a release for the Nintendo Switch is confirmed.
