HoYoverse revealed its plans for Gamescom 2023, including a booth for the upcoming PS5 version of space fantasy turn-based RPG, Honkai: Star Rail. Gamescom 2023 attendees can expect a range of activities at HoYoverse’s official booth in the Koelnmesse Exhibition Center.
Previously, HoYoverse confirmed plans to feature Honkai: Star Rail at various expos around the world in 2023, including Anime Expo 2023 and Tokyo Game Show 2023. Gamescom is also one of the expected stops for HoYoverse as it prepares to share information about updates for its games. These games include Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Impact 3rd.
HoYoverse Gamescom 2023 Plans
HoYoverse will have an official booth with “a full range of exhilarating activities” in Hall 6, Booth B030 at the Koelnmesse. Genshin Impact fans may visit “A Journey Through the Elements” display at the booth where five of the seven nations are highlighted. Moreover, various stage shows, musical performances, and competitions will be held to celebrate the world of Teyvat and Genshin Impact. Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Impact 3rd will also be showcased at the annual event.
According to HoYoverse, Honkai: Star Rail fans may visit a fully decorated theme at the booth based on the game’s Xianzhou Luofu Slikpunk flagship. A hands-on gameplay demo of Honkai: Star Rail for PS5 will also be available for the first time at Gamescom 2023. Zenless Zone Zero will also have its very first hands-on gameplay demo at HoYoverse’s booth. Lastly, fans can expect a summer-based theme for Honkai Impact 3rd at the official booth.
Gamescom 2023 is set for August 23 to 27 from the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. On August 22, The Game Awards showrunner Geoff Keighley will host the Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live showcase featuring new game announcements, gameplay footage, trailers, and updates on existing games.
HoYoverse’s other flagship game, Genshin Impact, is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. HoYoverse is currently developing a Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Epic Games Store. The PS5 version of Honkai: Star Rail launches in Q4 2023.
