Genshin Impact Version 3.8 Update Now Available

    The final update before Fontaine.

HoYoverse have released the Genshin Impact version 3.8 update, offering a final celebration before players depart into the Fontaine region. Players will enter the Veluriyam Mirage limited-time area to participate in a new summer event and earn special rewards.

In Genshin Impact version 3.8, players may enjoy special mini-games on attractions found throughout the Veluriyam Mirage. While exploring Veluriyam Mirage, players may collect Joyeux Vouchers to redeem various rewards from the event shop. These rewards include Primogems, Mora, Talent materials, and a brand-new costume for Kaeya. The Veluriyam Mirage will only be available during the version 3.8 update, so players must complete the activities and earn their rewards before late August.

Additional Genshin Impact Version 3.8 Content

Genshin Impact players may also enjoy a new Hangout Event with Kaeya and various new side quests. Additionally, Genius Invokation TCG receives new Yanfei, Kaedehara Kazuha, and Candace alongside corresponding Talent cards. Fruit of Fulfillment, Master Zhang, Rhythm of the Great Dream, Ancient Courtyard, and Covenant of Rock Action cards were also added. Furthermore, new invitation duels and guest challenges are available, allowing players to try out the new cards in additional matches.

Moreover, Genshin Impact players may summon returning characters such as Eula and Klee from reprised event wishes. Sangonomiya Kokomi and Wanderer may be summoned in phase two of the update. No new characters have been added in version 3.8, but this is another opportunity to summon fan-favorites before version 4.0 arrives. Version 4.0 will have new characters from Fontaine when the update launches in late August 2023.

Several adjustments and bug fixes have been made with Genshin Impact version 3.8. Due to the near five-hour maintenance, players will receive 600 Primogems after successfully updating the game and logging in. Full patch notes and additional details may be found at HoYoLab.

Finally, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is in development, but a release date has not been made official by HoYoverse just yet.
