Recently showcased at TapTap Game Fest 2023.

During TapTap Game Fest 2023, SEGA and ATLUS shared a new trailer Perfect World Games-developed mobile RPG, Persona 5: The Phantom X. The developers also confirm a second beta test for Persona 5: The Phantom X is on the way with new content to explore.

The “Overview Trailer” for Persona 5: The Phantom X begins with an animated scene of protagonist Wonder getting on a train in Shibuya. The protagonist’s companion, Motoha Arai, is also seen on the train as she’s surprised by a “Cyler Eats” cyclist about to run into Wonder. Then, Persona 5: The Phantom X producer Old V begins to introduce the game’s premise, Shibuya, the combat system, and much more. The producer also reveals a new playable party member going by the codename “Soy.”

Perfect World Games confirms a second beta test for Persona 5: The Phantom X will be held in Q3 2023. The previous beta test was exclusive to Android in China, so the second beta test may follow similar restrictions. The upcoming beta test will include new characters, stories, and areas to explore. More details, including the beta schedule, will be revealed at a later date.
