Arc System Works and Cygames announced the Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising online beta test will be held from July 26 to 30 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Pre-access registration will be live early next month, and lucky applicants will be able to get a head start in the online beta.
The official Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Twitter account announced that pre-access registration for the online beta test opens on July 5 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Fans may apply for pre-access until July 16 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Players will be randomly chosen for the pre-access online beta, which will be held from July 26 to 27 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The online beta will be open to all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players from July 28 to 30. Those selected for pre-access will have roughly five days to play the Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising online beta test.
Moreover, Cygames announced an open beta tournament will be held at EVO 2023, which is set for August 4 to 6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This offline tournament will be held on August 4 and 5, allowing players to compete in Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising. Registration for the Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising open beta tournament is live at start.gg until August 2 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

- 10:00 AM PT – Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising @ EVO opens up and Free Play is available for players on the show floor
- 11:00 AM PT – On-Site registration for the Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Double Elimination bracket begins. Bracket will be capped at 256 entrants
- Free Play will be available until bracket begins at 2:00 PM PT!

Saturday, August 5th: 10:00 AM PT – 7:00 PM PT

- Double Elimination Bracket

This tournament is only open to players who, from the time of entry and until all prizes have been awarded are 18 years of age and above.
Lastly, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising launches in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
