Cygames and Arc System Works announced the upcoming Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising online beta test begins in mid-July 2023. The online beta test will be held on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Additionally, Cygames released a new trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is still on track to meet its initial target for release in 2023 according to creative director Tetsuya Fukuhara. A release date will be announced after Granblue Fantasy: Versus beta testing concludes. A new character trailer featuring Siegfried was published as fans await the online beta test in July. Moreover, another character will be revealed in early July.

Update on the Online Beta Release Schedule
Attention, skyfarers! Our team has worked through many of the stability issues that forced us to delay the Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising online beta. We are now preparing the beta client for launch.
The new release date is scheduled for mid-July. We realize that’s nearly two months later than original planned, and you have our sincerest apologies. As for the release of the game itself, we’re still on track to meet our initial target. Concrete dates will be announced for beta testing concludes.
Last but not least, as promised in the new Siegfried trailer dropping today, the third addition to the Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising roster will be revealed in early July. That announcement will be followed by a spate of others detailing new mechanics, game modes, and more. Be sure to stay tuned!

Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising launches this year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Before launch, a Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising pre-release tournament will be held at EVO 2023. Lastly, EVO 2023 runs from August 4 to 6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
