    EVO 2023 Games Lineup, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Pre-Release Tournament Announced

    Evolution announced the games lineup for EVO 2023, which takes place on August 4-6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. One of the games includes a returning, fan-favorite classic. 

    The main stage for EVO 2023 will now feature top 6 tournaments instead of top 8 due to time constraints. Additionally, each main game will now have a $25,000 prize pool for competitors. Further, Evolution confirms a special pre-release tournament for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will be held at EVO 2023. Registration for EVO 2023 is now live at evo.gg

    The full games lineup for this year’s EVO is listed below:

    “We are excited to once again feature an incredible lineup of fighting games at Evo 2023 and are thrilled to be including our first EVO Throwback tournament with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3,” said Rick Thiher, General Manager of EVO, ion. “This year we’re establishing $25,000 minimum prize pools for each tournament in our lineup, and continuing our efforts to improve the Evo event experience for players and fans.”

    EVO Japan 2023 will be the first stop for many major tournaments before EVO 2023 arrives this summer. The King of Fighters XV, Guilty Gear Strive, Tekken 7, and more are featuring at the annual Japanese fighting game event. EVO Japan 2023 runs from March 31 to April 2 at the Tokyo Big Sight in Japan.
