XSEED Games and Acquire announced Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed Director’s Cut launches on August 1 in North America and Europe. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch for the first time, and the new Director’s Cut DLC will be available as a separate purchase for the existing PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam) versions.
As previously announced, Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut includes the new route. Players may explore the “Kati Route” starring the Finnish exchange student and part-time maid, Kati Räikkönen. The original release did not have a dedicated route for Kati, but the character did provide support for the protagonist in certain instances.
Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut will be available digitally for $29.99 in the Nintendo eShop. A limited physical Day 1 Edition will be sold for $39.99 featuring a musical selections CD and a set of nine oversized art cards featuring original illustrations by Japanese artists. Moreover, pre-orders are currently available now in the XSEED Games Store. The Director’s Cut DLC will be available separately for $7.99 via PlayStation Store and Steam.
