Type-Moon and French Bread announced Melty Blood: Type Lumina version 1.43 update is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The update brings several adjustments to French Bread’s latest fighting game. Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions of Melty Blood: Type Lumina will receive the update soon.
Melty Blood: Type Lumina version 1.43 brings bug fixes and adjustments to Shield Counter and Clash Frame. A bug previously affected Shield Counters, preventing the maneuver from being performed. Another bug makes an opponent’s Moon Drive or EX Special Move invincible if performed during a Clash Frame move. Both of these bugs are fixed, and several character balance adjustments have been. Melty Blood: Type Lumina Version 1.43 Patch Notes
We have made bug fixes and adjustments to the battle system as follows.
- Shield Counter – A bug has been fixed in which shield counters could not be performed during a successful shield attack if the opponent’s Moon Drive or EX Special Move was performed in a screen freeze state.
- Clash Frame – Fixed an issue where the opponent’s Moon Drive or EX Special Move would sometimes be treated as an invincible move if it was performed during a Clash Frame move.
Changes outside of the battle system.
- Network Mode – The categorization of simple messages in player matches has been made more detailed, making it easier to select frequently used messages.
- Training Mode – Moon icon settings can now be set separately for 1P and 2P.
- Customize Mode – New items have been added to titles.
Fighting game fans may look forward to Melty Blood: Type Lumina high-level play at EVO 2023 this summer. Melty Blood: Type Lumina is a main stage title for EVO 2023 with a $25,000 prize pool for competitors. EVO 2023 is set for August 4 to 6 from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
