SEGA and ATLUS shared the new “How-To” trailer for Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection introducing several features including new difficulty options and auto mapping functionality. The Etrian Odyssey trilogy is remastered with improved graphics, a new widescreen aspect ratio, and various quality of life improvements.
The Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection “How-To” trailer shows how players can adjust their teams and difficulty options in the remaster. All three titles include an auto mapping feature, but players may also take advantage of touch screen mapping on Nintendo Switch. The Steam version includes full mouse support and functionality for map drawing, menus, and dungeon exploration. Additionally, the collection features remastered sound for its vibrant soundtrack.
Additionally, Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection’s newest trailer reminds fans about the HD Character Portrait DLC sets featuring characters from the Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and Soul Hackers franchises. Players gain access to the HD Character Portrait DLC sets by pre-ordering the collection in the Nintendo eShop and Steam marketplace. As a reminder, the full collection costs $79.99, whereas individual Etrian Odyssey remasters cost $39.99. These titles support English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish language options.
