Nintendo announced Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season begins on June 1, 2023 for Nintendo Switch. The upcoming season brings new weapons, stages, challenges, and much more to Splatoon 3 in just a few weeks.
The official Splatoon North America Twitter account revealed Sizzle Season in a brand-new trailer. Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season brings the new stages and weapons into the game via free updates. This includes the new Barnacle & Dime multiplayer stage, Painbrush weapon, S-BLAST ’92 weapon, and Jammin’ Salmon Junction Salmon Run stage. Further, Sizzle Season introduces new cards, a new clothing catalog, and new challenges.

Splatoon 3 players may also look forward to more Splatfests when the next season arrives. The recent version 3.1.1 update introduces several bug fixes and data to prepare for new Splatfests. For example, the update adjusts screen brightness and ink coloring on stages for Splatfests. Another update is planned for the end of the current season before Sizzle Season launches on June 1. This new update brings balance adjustments and other bug fixes to prepare for the launch of Sizzle Season, and patch notes will be available once it arrives.
Lastly, Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
