    Team Power Wins Splatoon 3 The Legend of Zelda Splatfest

    The Legend of Zelda Splatfest has concluded in Splatoon 3, and the results reveal that Team Power is the ultimate winner. Splatoon 3 players showed up to represent the franchise’s ultimate villain before the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

    Team Power Wins in Splatoon 3

    The official Splatoon 3 North America Twitter account shared results for The Legend of Zelda Splatfest, which ran from May 5 to May 7. Team Power dominates in a landslide victory, accumulating a total of 57 points for Ganondorf. Team Wisdom and Team Courage earned zero points while representing Zelda and Link respectively. Many chose to side with Team Power just days before the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on May 12. Before logging off of Splatoon 3 this week, Nintendo encourages players to claim their Super Sea Snails for participating in the Splatfest.

    Splatoon 3 players can expect more updates and Splatfests in the near future. Nintendo recently announced the next season of Splatoon 3 would launch in June 2023. The recent version 3.1.1 update prepares the game for more content and Splatfests going forward. Moreover, a major update launches near the end of the current season with balance adjustments and more bug fixes.

    Those interested in seeing more gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may tune into a special launch live stream event on May 11 at 6:45 p.m. PDT / 9:45 p.m. EDT. A new Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation will air with new gameplay, live segments, and more as fans count down to the midnight launch. Additionally, the Nintendo NYC Store will be hosting its launch event in tandem with Nintendo Treehouse: Live. 

    Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch. Lastly, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches May 12 for Nintendo Switch.
