Nintendo announced a special The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launch event will be held on May 11 starting at 6:45 p.m. PDT / 9:45 p.m. EDT. The event will celebrate the imminent release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with new gameplay and live streamed content.
A Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation airs with new live gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. According to Nintendo, the presentation will feature four Nintendo Treehouse: live segments. Moreover, Nintendo encourages fans to stay tuned after these segments have aired since more live stream content will be on the way. The event itself leads up to the midnight launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at the Nintendo NYC store. Fans may tune into the show by visiting live.nintendo.com.
If any stock is available, customers visiting Nintendo NYC may also purchase the special edition Nintendo Switch OLED model alongside their copy of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. At midnight, new The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers and carrying cases will be available as well.
