Nintendo announced a special Nintendo Switch OLED model for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom alongside new accessories. The new Nintendo Switch OLED model will release shortly before the release of the full game, allowing fans to prepare by purchasing this brand-new model.
New OLED Model
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch OLED model launches on April 28 for a suggested retail price of $359.99. The new edition features a design that appears in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, including the iconic Hylian Crest from The Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock. Fans may also look forward to two new accessories, which will be available on the game’s launch day. The new OLED model does not include The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game.
Pro Controller and Carrying Case Revealed
A limited edition The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch will be sold on May 12 for a suggested retail price of $74.99. Additionally, a carrying case themed after The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be sold on May 12 for $24.99. Pre-orders for the new Nintendo Switch OLED model, Pro Controller, and carrying case are available now at participating retailers.

The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma revealed the new Nintendo Switch OLED model and accessories during a gameplay demonstration for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This gameplay demonstration is roughly 13 minutes long as Aonuma introduces Link’s new abilities for the first time. Fans may tune into the gameplay demonstration on the official Nintendo YouTube channel.
