Nihon Falcom’s latest financials report reveals The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure have exceeded sales expectations in the west. The recent releases by NIS America surpasses original sales forecasts, which may be a great sign of things to come for the Trails series.
The latest financials report from Falcom covers sales performance for the first half of the fiscal year from October 2022 to March 2023. Falcom notes that sales for The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure in the west exceeded the company’s original forecast for the fiscal year. Strong sales from the Trails and Ys franchises helped Falcom achieve higher net income, operating income, and net sales year-over-year. Additionally, the company notes strong digital sales for both franchises in Asia (South Korea, Hong Kong, etc.). Clouded Leopard Entertainment officially publishes Falcom titles in Asia markets.
Fans in the west will soon experience a massive story with three protagonists in The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie. The Trails to Walk system allows players to switch between Rean Schwarzer, Lloyd Bannings, and C in order to complete each chapter. A variety of side content is available including mini-games and the True Reverie Corridor.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure are currently available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in the west. Lastly, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie launches July 7 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
