HoYoverse shared new information about Genshin Impact version 3.6 and the latest addition to the playable roster, Baizhu. Baizhu is a playable Dendro character that should prove to be available ally for the Traveler going forward.
Baizhu is the owner of Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor, and players may remember him from the Liyue main storyline. He’s normally accompanied by the white snake, Changsheng. Holding a vast amount of knowledge in the medical field, Baizhu is a reliable healer and protector with a benevolent personality. However, he’s quite a mysterious person.
Baizhu’s Talents include The Classics of Acupuncture, Universal Diagnosis, and Holistic Revivification. The Classics of Acupuncture serves as Baizhu’s Normal Attack, performing up to four attacks with Dendro DMG while using a catalyst weapon. Players may charge The Classics of Acupuncture to unleash a powerful charged attack at the cost of some Stamina. Equipping certain catalysts and artifacts may improve overall attack damage greatly.
The Universal Diagnosis Talent serves as the Elemental Skill for Baizhu. Baizhu will summon a Gossamer Sprite that cruises and attacks nearby opponents, dealing Dendro DMG for a short duration. After performing three attacks or defeating all nearby enemies, the sprite will return to Baizhu and heal all party members based on Baizhu’s max HP stat.
Baizhu’s Elemental Burst is Holistic Revivification. Upon activating Holistic Revivification, Baizhu will enter the Pulsing Clarity state, creating a Seamless Shield that absorbs Dendro DMG with 250% effectiveness. While in the Pulsing Clarity state, Baizhu will generate a new Seamless Shield every 2.5s.
