Hypergryph and Yostar Pictures released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Arknights Perish in Frost anime, which is a direct continuation to the Arknights: Prelude to Dawn anime. A new key visual was revealed, and Hypergryph teases a collaboration event between Arknights and Destiny 2.
Perish in Frost Anime
The Arknights prologue and first three story chapters were adapted into into the Arknights: Prelude to Dawn anime. Arknights Perish in Frost will continue the story from where Prelude to Dawn episode 8 left off. The new anime is currently in production at Yostar Pictures with Arknights: Prelude to Dawn voice cast returning for their respective roles. Japanese voice actors Tomoyo Kurosawa and Yuki Kaida return as Amiya and Doctor. Moreover, Ayahi Takagaki and Shizuka Ishigami voice FrostNova and Ch’en respectively.
The latest teaser trailer for Arknights Perish in Frost provides another look into the anime’s characters and events. In the anime, Rhodes Island dispatches a recon squad to a suspicious nomadic city. However, a strange anomaly occurs and an operator remembers the legend of the “Yeti.” A new key visual was revealed featuring the mysterious character, FrostNova.
Arknights x Destiny 2
Alongside the latest trailer for Arknights Perish in Frost, Hypergryph and developer Studio Montagne announced Arknights will collaborate with Destiny 2 in a new event. The collaboration event features a story collection and Destiny skins. Further details about the event, including a launch date, were not revealed.
