Genshin Impact Version 3.6 Phase 1 Events Revealed

    Enter the Akademiya Extravaganza and earn new rewards.

    HoYoverse revealed several new details about events arriving in phase 1 of Genshin Impact version 3.6, which launches on April 12. The new update will introduce a slew of new events alongside returning several returning characters. 

    Nahida and Nilou Return

    Immediately after installing Genshin Impact version 3.6, Nahida and Nilou will be available to summon from phase 1 event wishes “The Moongrass’ Enlightment” and “Twirling Lotus” respectively. Kuki Shinobu, Dori, and Layla will be available as 4-star focus characters, and the Epitome Invocation wish will be refreshed once more. All three of these wishes will be available until May 2 at 17:59 server time. Moreover, Nahida’s next story chapter and a new Hangout Event with Layla will be made available on April 12.

    Phase 1 Events

    On April 13, the Brewing Developments event begins with several rewards to obtain by completing time-limited challenges. These rewards include Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Character Talent Level-Up Materials, and more. One week later, the Fulminating Sandstorm event begins on April 21 during Genshin Impact version 3.6 phase 1. Players must help Akademiya researchers complete the Wenutslayer Cannon to defeat wandering Wenut according to HoYoverse

    The Akademiya Extravaganza will be underway in Genshin Impact version 3.6 phase 1 starting April 27. By participating in Sumeru’s grand event, players earn rewards such as Primogems, Crown of Insight, furnishings, and other event-exclusive items. If the Gaia Excitement reaches a required value, players may also recruit Faruzan for free. On April 29, players may head back to Mondstadt for more Genius Invokation TCG under Heated Battle Mode rules. 

    HoYoverse is currently developing a Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact. A release date for the Switch version was not announced, however. Additionally, fans may also look forward to a new Genshin Impact anime by ufotable (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba).

    Lastly, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Epic Games Store and Windows.
