The first closed beta test for Persona 5: The Phantom X is live for Android in China, and several details have been datamined and uncovered. The latest information shares insight on the new Phantom Thieves, and various new music tracks by Lyn were uploaded online.
New Phantom Thieves
Persona 5: The Phantom X’s protagonist is also known as Wonder. He’s a second-year high school student at Kokatsu Academy. Wonder unlocks his Persona, Jánošík, after an unexpected encounter. A new cast of Phantom Thieves and the original Phantom Thieves will aid Wonder in combat.
Motoha Arai is a second-year high school student at Kokatsu Academy and Wonder’s classmate. She has a straightforward and cheerful personality with a love for sports, making her one of the most popular students at the academy. Her average grades appear to be one of her only shortcomings. Motoha’s Phantom Thief codename is Closer, and her initial Persona is Awilda.
Luffy is a mysterious owl-like creature that aids Wonder and the new Phantom Thieves as codename Cattle. Like Persona 5’s Morgana, Luffy can speaks like normal humans and may transform into a delivery van. He’s very knowledge of other worlds and Personas, and his own Persona is Rob Roy.
Seiji Shiratori is one of the playable main party members in Persona 5: The Phantom X. Seiji is a TA that harnesses the power of his Persona II, Leucothea.
Kotone Montagne is another playable main party member and TA in Persona 5: The Phantom X. Kotone goes by the codename Mont, and her Persona II is Terpsichore.
Yukimi Fujikawa utilizes her Persona II, Styx, to aid the new Phantom Thieves as a playable party member. Yukimi’s Phantom Thief codename is Yuki in P5X (Thanks, Persona Central).
The Music of Persona 5: The Phantom X
One of the most recognizable tracks in P5X may be found on the title screen. The music track “Phantom” from the original Persona 5 game returns as the title screen theme. Five brand-new songs have been uploaded to YouTube by closed beta test users. “Shadow Loop,” “Last Strike,” and “Wake Up Your Hero,” feature vocals from the original Persona 5 vocalist Lyn. The other two songs are called “Lust” and “Elite Battle,” but these songs have not been uploaded to YouTube and do not feature vocals by Lyn.
