Nintendo and Intelligent Systems announced Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass Wave 3 and the version 1.3.0 update are available now. Version 1.3.0 adds support for the latest in-game content while adding brand-new features.
Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass Wave 3 adds Chrom and Robin (Emblem of Bonds) and Veronica (Emblem of Heroes). Chrom and Robin specialize in thunder-based magic attacks and counterattacking, while Veronica utilizes the ability to summon heroes. Players may recruit these Emblems by completing their respective paralogue quests.
The version 1.3.0 update adds support for Expansion Pass Wave 3. Additionally, the new update allows players to exchange items at the ancient well in Somniel. Players must talk to the proprietor of the armory in Chapter 7 and onward to gain access to this new feature. Furthermore, version 1.3.0 enables skill inheritance at the Arena.

- Compatible with Wave 3 of the Expansion Pass.
- From Chapter 7 forward, you’ll be able to exchange items at the ancient well on the Somniel.

- You can now use Inherit Skills in the Arena.
- Issues have been fixed to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.
The previous wave of DLC (Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass Wave 2) includes Hector (Emblem of Strength), Soren (Emblem of Acumen), and Camilla (Emblem of Revelation). Hector specializes in bolstering defense and unleashing counterattacks in battle. Soren may unleash powerful magic attacks over a wide area. Camilla modifies the terrain to hinder enemies while providing openings for attacks.
Fans may also look forward to a new story in Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass Wave 4 later this year. Alear and allies will lend their aid to a foreign world in the Fell Xenologue story.
Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass Wave 3 launches March 7 worldwide. Lastly, Fire Emblem Engage is available now for Nintendo Switch.
