The Slayer arrives with a flurry of offense.

SEGA revealed multiple new updates releasing this March for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, and a new Slayer class is on the way. Players can expect the first update to land on March 1 with a variety of content to explore.

    First of March

The spring series of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis updates kicks off with the March 1 update, which brings Giant Mutants to sectors across Aelio, Retem, the Dreisen Plant, and Kvaris. The Rank 2 setting will be available in the Geometric Labyrinth, and players may earn solo and class-specific ARKS Records there between March 1 and 8. Further, two revival AC Scratch Tickets will be available with reprised cosmetics: Rewind Collection 10 and Early Spring Memories.

    The Second March Update

Another update arrives just one week later on March 8. Spring is finally in the air as new decor adorns Central City and other areas. Additionally, various Mischief Symbols resembling cherry blossoms may be found, and Hululu Rappies and Emperappies roam the field. This spring update also bring the new 8-star Trunkful series weapons with new augments and co-op trials with special characters.

Xiandy returns to Central City as the event navigator. Once more, players may complete limited-time tasks to earn rewards and seasonal points. Seasonal points may be used to obtain rewards and useful items at the seasonal points exchange shop. Moreover, players may draw cosmetics from the Spring ’23 Special Scratch Ticket and Mystic Explorer AC Scratch Ticket. Take the flashy new cosmetics into new Field Races and the Drill: Unidentified Region A16 limited-time quest when the update launches on March 8.

    Spring Update Continues

The March 22 update open the second half of the Spring ’23 event with a new Drill: Unidentified Region X1024 limited-time quest. More items will be added to the exchange shop, and Vigilant Recruit AC Scratch Ticket brings new tactical-style uniforms into the mix. Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis players may also participate in a new Field Race across Halpha Lake.

    Dawn of the Slayer

SEGA revealed a sneak peek into the all-new Slayer class for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.
