Bandai Namco Currently Investigating Fixes for Switch Version of Tales of Symphonia Remastered

    Potential patches on the way.

Bandai Namco issued a statement on Twitter addressing Nintendo Switch players currently experiencing issues in Tales of Symphonia Remastered. The company apologizes for the problems involving gameplay, and a potential fix is being investigated.

Currently, the Nintendo Switch version of Tales of Symphonia Remastered is facing major technical issues including frame rate dips, long loading times, crashes, and visual imperfections. Some of these issues are not present in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, but various issues persist nonetheless. These issues contribute to the game’s lackluster review scores aggregated by Metacritic and OpenCritic.

Bandai Namco issues a formal apology to fans playing Tales of Symphonia Remastered on Nintendo Switch. Further, the company is investigating potential fixes for gameplay bugs. A time frame for patches was not given, however.
