Rockstar Games has confirmed that the ability to pre-load Grand Theft Auto VI will start on November 10, ahead of its November 19 release. It has also revealed that the game will require 212 GB “depending on your device.”
Its full statement on pre-loading is as follows:
Digital pre-loading on PlayStation 5 will begin on Tuesday, November 10 at midnight local time in your respective time zone. On XBOX Series X|S, pre-loading begins globally on Tuesday, November 10 at 12 a.m. GMT. Code-in-box versions for both consoles should be available from retailers beginning November 12.
The pre-load file will require up to 212 GB depending on your device, so make sure you’ve got ample space to begin pre-loading as soon as possible.
Grand Theft Auto VI will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, with pre-orders now live. The standard edition of Grand Theft Auto VI will cost $80, while the Ultimate Edition is $100. The physical version of Grand Theft Auto VI will not include a disc and instead, there will be a download code in a box.
The recent launch trailer highlights the many antics that Jason and Lucia will find themselves in, as well as their love for each other in the midst of Vice City’s chaos. It also features a new addition to Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, feat. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The track is available now on various streaming services, while the album is available to pre-save and pre-order, the latter of which specifically applies to the limited edition vinyl and CD sets. Pre-saves and pre-orders for the original score, composed by Justice, are also live.
