Enhance revealed a few new details regarding the upcoming Tetris Effect: Connected update for Nintendo Switch, which adds a new vertical play mode on February 22. The update launches alongside the new PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 versions of Tetris Effect: Connected.
Enhance confirms the Nintendo Switch version of Tetris Effect: Connected will receive a vertical play mode called “TATE” on February 22. This mode shifts the aspect ratio of Tetris Effect: Connected from horizontal to vertical, placing emphasis on the playfield. The publisher demonstrates TATE mode by using the Fangamer’s Nintendo Switch Flip Grip, which was created by Mike Choi.
